Against Legalized Betting Anti-Corruption Chief of Indian Cricket

The anti-corruption Head of BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) is Shabir Hussein Shekhadam Khandwawala, who opposes the sports betting legalization. The BCCI Head believe that sports betting legalization could lead to match-fixing.

BCCI’s Head says that Legalization of Sports Betting Leads to Corruption

On April 1, Shabir Hussein Shekhadam Khandwawala took over BCCI’s Head from Ajit Singh. And this week, he stated that he is opposed to sports wagering legalization on Cricket on the risk of match-fixing ground.
