Curaçao Coastguard Prevents Casino Robbery

On 13th March 2020, the Coastguard of Curaçao intercepted a boat at the request of the island’s cops. The boat was on its way from Bonaire, carrying an amount of around $20,000, which came to the light during an audit.

This money reportedly belongs to the Divi Flamingo casino, which was robbed of around $80 and $90,000 on the 10th of March 2020. The two men riding the boat have been arrested and the loot confiscated. The police have also conducted a search on the same day in a house located in the Antriol district.
