What’s the Roadmap for the World Series of Poker 2021?

Covid-19 has helped gamblers to explore the online world of poker and helped the industry to boost wildly. Amid the Covid restrictions and lockdowns, the pace of growth for live casinos has taken a setback.

The world-famous poker tournament series, World Series of Poker (WSOP), has announced much-awaited plans for 2021. The announcement includes everything you need to know about live tournaments, in-per World Series of Poker events, and the No-limit Hold’em World Championship worth $10,000, also known as “The Main Event.”

The World Series of Poker had a record-breaking success in 2019 and had to adjust in the online accommodation in 2020 due to the pandemic. The most loved poker tournament is now back in person at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino this fall season, and the approval for the regulatory application is pending.

The tournament is expected to begin on 30th September 2021 and will conclude on 23rd November 2021.

The opening of the World Series of Poker 2021 is expected to feature an exceptional charity function to help support frontline health workers who are risking their life helping others in the dreadful situation of Covid-19. The charity event includes $25,000 H.O.R.S.E and $5 million GTD on No-Limit Hold’em that are billed by the name “The Reunion.”

WSOP timeline

“The Main Event” is expected to schedule on Thursday, 4th November 2021, and goes through Wednesday, 17th November 2021.

Players have their choices to make from Thursday, 4th November to Sunday, 7th November 2021. Players participating in the tournament on Thursday or Friday will have their next match Monday, 8th November 2021, if they have what it takes to clear the first hurdle.

Those who participated on Saturday or Sunday will get into their next match on Tuesday, 9th November 2021, and the fields combine on Wednesday, 10th November 2021.

Tournament Arrangements

Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas and headquarters at Rio All-SuiteHotels and Casinos are open for hotel room reservations, offering the cheapest rates on hotel rooms as low as $60 for the previous member of Caesars Rewards.

Certain Covid-19 safety precautions will be followed during the entire functioning of the tournament. The World Series of Poker is compliant to follow all the protocols on social distancing and maintain the company number of people on the tournament dates.

The WSOP Executive, Ty Stewart commented, “This year, we have worked harder to make the experience more memorable experience of WSOP and bring the Poker players and enthusiasts back together in the same room. The theme for World Series of Poker 2021 is get vaccinated and get back to Las Vegas.”

WSOP Europe 2021

WSOP Europe is expected to return to King’s Casinos in Rozvadov, the Czech Republic on Friday, 19th November 2021, and runs till Tuesday, 8th December. The WSOP Europe tournament is subjected to start once regulatory approval is provided.

The tournament consists of 15 gold bracelet events, with a 50,000 euro High Roller event and 10,000 euro buy-in WSOP Europe Main Event.
